Awww Cute!

Here is a recent picture of Sheela I took a couple of days ago. She's so cute! She's starting to really love going outside all the time and loves going to my parents where she can run around in the yard and play with the other dogs. She didn't want to come home last night and as soon as she realized we were getting in the car, she ran back as fast as she could to my parents front door. I'm excited to take her camping and hiking with us when we go.

Happy Anniversary!

On the 16th through the 18th, Brevyn and I spent our one year anniversary up a canyon at a nice cabin. It was awesome to get away, cook meals together, be alone together, watch movies, play games, go four wheeling, and make sweet...memories together :) We had two birds spend some time with us in the cabin, but we were able to get them back outside where they belonged. It was almost like a honeymoon all over again, except I wasn't pregnant then, though I actually weigh less now than I did then. Brevyn makes up for it though :) I'm kidding Brevyn, I love you and you look great :) Time passes quickly. It's been a great year! People say the first year of marriage is one of the hardest, if that's the case, we're in for a pretty easy marriage :) Okay, I guess kids might add a little stress, but it will be worth it.

Sheela's doing great. She's getting bigger and her ears perk up now. She's so cute and is gradually getting more obedient.

Well, that's the latest...that I can think of for now.

Good with the Bad

On our way home this weekend from Idaho after Brevyn's drill and picking up Sheela, I learned the bad news. Brevyn's unit is getting deployed next year. My heart sank! Brevyn's eight years is up in November, but they are possibly doing what's called a Stop Loss in October which means he will be forced to re-enlist and deploy with his unit. My fingers are crossed and this next six months will be stressful with suspense. We will find out the dates and times of deployment in August. Do I have what it takes to be the wife of a soldier?

Welcome Home Sheela!

On Sunday, we brought home our puppy Sheela! She is a pure bred German Shepherd and is so adorable! She will keep the baby and I company at nights since my husband works the night shift. She likes to bite with her baby sharp teeth, but we are working on that. :)
